There is this newspaper column called "Ask a Mexican" by Gustavo Arellano, where he answers racial tension questions about Mexicans. A reader had asked him once, "why is it when you fight a fight a bean, you end up fighting the whole burrito".

I drew a Vickers WWI machine gun in response to that question. Looking closely at the bullet belt, you see little mexicans with sombreros. It means there is power in numbers.

Immigrants, not just from Mexico, is what the US of A is made up of. We are simply a nation of immigrants. Even the ancient Native Americans where immigrants. They had their own river to cross. The only real natives are the buffalos.

Laws need to be overhauled to facilitate a smoother transition for both sides. Simple, government should help its people, that means future citizens too.

This piece is part of a two types of papers, a semi-transparent vellum sheet on the front and a white Bristol/smooth paper.

The concept of the robot evolved from the classic arcade game "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". In the game there are these robots that drill up and rope you to shock you. This would be a perfect immigration invention. Robots that will do our biting.

In the bottom layer is a picture of Himmler. And I don't think he had anything to do with immigration.

The two were combine randomly. There was no specific reason. I was just trying to find out if the layering of a semi-transparent worked with another image.

I think it worked out fine.

This drawing was a reaction towards western pragmatism. Who better models than the Nazi Party. The Germans contributed incredible work ethic, science, and engineering during WWII. Notice that the American soldier with the 'bucket' Nazi helmet design.

Our pragmaticism is fault why the U.S has such a poor culture/arts/music. Always cutting corners, always trying to figure out a profit.

The Real Inconvenient Truth

I'm from El Paso Texas and Juarez, Mexico. Over the past 10 years there have been over 500 women slayings in Juarez. The victims are women who work in the "maquilas". Maquilas are the byproduct of NAFTA, to get to the point maquilas is where we, US, get our cheap labor. Maquilas are companies that have left the US in search of cheap labor and exploitation.

Most of the of the workers of these maquilas are women. They are women who are housewives or underage girls who work to support their families. The sad news is that you can also find their decomposed lifeless bodies, half buried, mutilated, and unaccounted in the desert.

Surprisingly, nobody even cares. The border area, El Paso/Juarez is thriving in business and religion. Where is the Chuch, the protestants, pentecostal, or baptist? The only voice you hear in the street is that of the mothers of victims, only mothers! Where are the fathers?

People blame the police corruption. They say it's the work of a of serial killer(s). But the truth is that the killer is not too far away from us. The killer is the idea of what men thinks of women. Simply disposalble objects.

Well, the connotation of immigration is has always seem to be a negative one. Some say it's good but there has to be a limit. Obviously everyone immigrant and sometimes "certain" immigrants have proven to destroy complete native cultures. My opinion is that in search for a better living, survival, or life, I would do anything. Even if it means to defy borders, government, or laws. None should limit you to how one should live.
